Sample Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive and Relax

You and your guests are shuttled from Rome or Pescara to our Villa or Estate locations where you will relax and unwind before an orientation session where the plan for the week and big day will be reviewed.

DAY 2 - GASTRONOMY ABRUZZESE STYLE

Today, we visit the town of Bucchianico and a centuries old olive oil press. Your host Francesca will explain the finer points of extra virgin olive oil production then delight your taste buds with her oil and wine and samples of traditional Abruzzese cuisine. Later, you take a walking tour of the beautiful town of Pretoro. 6 hours. Comfortable shoes. Moderate mobility.

DAY 3 - THE ADRIATIC COAST

A trip to the coast to see fishing platforms only found in Abruzzo.

Experience the Canadian WWII cemetery near Ortona.

Seafood lunch on a unique fishing platform over the sea.

Visit San Giovanni in Venere, a medieval abbey built on top of a Roman temple.

DAY 4 - VISTAS AND VILLAGES

You start with a drive up the Gran Sasso Massive to a 10th-century fortress overlooking the Tirino Valley. Lunch in a local restaurant .

Visit Santo Stefano where the buildings are stacked on top of each other.

Then you see a chapel with frescoes from 1263 - 250 years before that other chapel in Vatican City.

8 hours. Walking shoes. Moderate to difficult mobility to see the fort. The rest is easy.

Day 5 - Day at the beach

We take you to Pescara for a day of sun, surf and seafood. Lounge on the sand at our beach club. Take a walk around the city’s cool downtown pedestrian area. Hit the fancy shops, grab a gelato, or have a drink in one of the many cafes.

Day 6 - The Big Day

Your wedding will be customized to your wishes by our wedding planner Daria. Flower choices, meal choices, special drinks, wines, DJ or band, ceremony on our grounds with an official Italian officiant or simple personal vows. Dinner on the lawn beside the pool or under the trees, and pool side dancing at night. We will guarantee a memorable, special and highly personalized day.

Day 7 - Wine Tour

After the big day, you sleep in late, have breakfast and visit a local family run winery for lunch then relax in the afternoon.

Day 8 - Ciao for now

After a good-bye dinner and celebration, the next morning we shuttle you to Rome or Pescara.
