Day 1

We whisk you from Rome or Pescara to your villa.

Day 2

Visit the mountain fortress of Rocca Calascio in the Appennines. Take in the stunning views.

Day 2

Visit the medieval village of Santo Stefano follow by a trip to Abruzzo’s Sistine Chapel.

Day 3

Visit a Christmas Market or a regular weekly market and take in some Abruzzese culture.

Day 3

It never gets very cold in Abruzzo, even in the winter outdoor markets thrive.

Day 3

On the way home, we’ll stop in at renown ceramic artist Nadia Tenerini’s studio for a demonstration.

Day 4

After a leisurely breakfast our chefs will teach you the art of fresh pasta making and we’ll eat your work for lunch.

Day 4

In the afternoon, we’ll have a private wine appreciation chat and tasting with a local producer or a five-wine blind flight tasting at the villa.

Day 5

You will tour the Adriatic Coast.

Day 5

Your trip to the coast will include a stop at the Canadian War Cemetery and Museum in Ortona. A moving experience not to be missed.

Day 6

We visit two wineries and several gorgeous villages in the area surrounding Villa d’Abruzzo.

Day 6

At our second winery, we will have lunch of traditional Abruzzese foods.

Day 7

Today, we head to one of the most beautiful villages in Abruzzo called Scanno. The drive there is breathtaking.

Day 7

In Scanno, we wil visit a world-famous jewelry making family in their historic shop.

Day 8

We say good bye and shuttle you to Rome or Pescara.
